So here you go: My first photography to be uploaded, taken with my new camera, a Nikon D40!

Please do give me all the critique you can; I'm eager to leran as much as possible, on how to improve!

And I definitely need something to edit with. All I can do at the moment, is use the editing program that came with the camera!

And for the interested, this was taken at IVAR (in English, meaning Intercommunal Water, Sewage and Renovation, and Ivar being a Norwegian name), the water-cleaning facility of Rogaland, the Norwegian county I live in.

Now drown me in advice.

Even though all I do myself is photography, I'm afraid I can't really add anything constructive .___. except for that the Nikon View program works better as it seems 8D

Heh, thanks a lot =) How does this look on your screen, though? Does it look kind of blue? Or paler colours? I think perhaps my screen is brighter, and show more colour than other screens.

Heh, jeg skal la deg få tid til å komme på det ;)

Jeg er egentlig ganske stolt nå. En av de fotografene jeg beundrer mest, har favorisert bildet =D Utrolig at han i det hele tatt kom over det. Og likte det!

How is the colour on your screen, though?
I think mine might be brighter, and show the blue colours in this one, much better than on most other screens. So I'm thinking to others than myself, this might look much more dull? I need to know :P

Great Shot there is plenty of editing
software to try depending on the platform you have, go to CNET.com and look around...
Try to keep it simple at first..
